Fields of interest
1.
surface physics such as
magnetism, spin-related phenomena, charge density wave and superconductivity.
2. spin-dependent surface electronic states of topological materials.
3.
formation & electronic properties of nanostructures at
surfaces.
4.
laser-light or
tunneling-electron induced phenomena at surfaces.
using UHV-LT-STM's,
room temperature UHV STM's, spin- and angle-resolved photo-electron
spectroscopy, electron spectroscopy by synchrotron light,
magneto-optical effect and a femtosecond pulsed laser.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Physics,
Chemistry or a related field, with experiences in surface science and/or ARPES
and/or STM in UHV and/or surface/thin-film magnetism.
